Ontario Meals on Wheels has been in operation since the early 1960’s and has grown exponentially since its conception. Currently 3.3 million meals are delivered each day serving over 61,018 individuals, primarily older adults (65+) in Ontario.
Fun Facts
- There are 125 participating agencies in Ontario, including Happy in My Home, Community Support Services of Niagara!
- Our Meals on Wheels program offers our clients the choice between two types of meals: hot or frozen.
- Meals are delivered directly to our clients home with the help of our volunteers.
- Meals on Wheels allows our clients to stay home longer and ensure proper nourishment.
- Meals can be sponsored by corporations, donors and funders.
