Meals on Wheels
Hot meals delivered Monday through Friday by caring volunteers to the client’s home over the noon hour.
Clients decide which days they receive meals; consistent schedule required.
Special diets are available by request.
Frozen meals also available.
Fees are billed monthly.
Payment options include direct debit, cheque or cash payment
Hot meals (soup, entrée & dessert) are delivered between 11 am and 1 pm Monday through Friday.
Set menu rotates every 20 days.
Frozen meals are ordered from a five-week rotating menu with a choice of seven each of soup, entrée and dessert
ELIGIBILITY:
Seniors and adults with disabilities. Eligibility criteria differs for each service. Please check with coordinators for more details.
BECOMING A CLIENT
- By telephone to your local community office.
- Basic intake information will be requested.
- Full address including postal code, date of birth, two emergency contact people with their names and phone numbers, billing address and other relevant information needed to provide a specific service.
