Our programs and services aim to reduce isolation/loneliness, reduce food insecurity or ensure access to regular balanced meals, access to medical and non-medical appointments. They also minimize the risk of falls and provide general assistance with house cleaning and home maintenance and repairs, all of which can become increasingly challenging as individuals age. Together with the support of our hand selected Brokered Workers, we are making a positive difference in decreasing unnecessary and costly hospital admissions, emergency department visits and admissions into long-term care. Our Brokered Workers help our clients with various jobs around their home, ensuring that our clients live happy in their home. Jobs rendered by our Brokered Workers can include:

  • Heavy/deep house cleaning or occasional cleaning and de-cluttering
  • Minor home repairs; please inquire for more details
  • Yard work including grass cutting, gardening, leaf removal & snow removal

This program is a fee-based service. Prices are determined by the Brokered Worker directly with our clients. Payment is exchanged directly with the client and the Brokered Worker. Happy in my Home is not responsible for the payment transaction nor the completeness or satisfaction of the services rendered by a Brokered Worker. All communication exchanged is with the client and the Brokered Worker; Happy in my Home’s sole involvement is to provide the referral to the client.
